Nursing Educator Becomes Librarian

|

Bernadette Kaelin (NURS '60):

I was interested in teaching nursing and pursued a degree in nursing education. It was a wonderful experience, and I went on to teach for seven years. A couple years later I applied to the School of Library Science and earned my MSN, after which I spent 14 years working in a medical library prior to retirement. Not only did I love my education at Pitt and find it very enlightening, but I also lived near Pitt and visited the campus regularly.
